Staff were polite and provided helpful local recommendations.
During my six-night stay, the room was cleaned minimally and bedsheets were not changed at all. Combine that with the shower's poor drainage and broken fixtures, and it.

The staff were quite helpful and multilingual.
There is no lift, so one had to climb a lot of narrow stairs everyday to get to my room (112)!!

The location excelled with easy access to Gare de l'Est and local eateries. My room shone with cleanliness, and the comfortable beds. The shower had great water pressure. The tiny space barely accommodated two people. Despite these issues, the overall ambiance and nearby attractions compensated for the inconveniences.

was very close to train station and metro.
the worst hotel room i have stayed in, in Paris that had any star ratings at all. room was entered via the toilet (yes really!) no bathroom door, bathroom sink tap sprayed water around the room when turned on.. shower cubicle door tiny, not suitable for larger guests. piping running through the room was very noisy. no elevator..stairway steep and tiny even by Parisian standards etc etc etc. how on earth did this place get any stars? ***was easy to find due to the open all hours sex shop down stairs.... Not recommended at all, you must be able to do much better than this in the area for this price.

The first room we were given had the toilet, shower and wash- hand sink in an open space in the hallway as you entered. When we complained, we were given a room with an ensuite shower room. The staff were excellent but the hotel was basic.
I did not like the expectation that we would accept a room with the shower and toilet facilities in a completely open area in the entrance to the room the reception area and the stairway to the fourth floor was basic and unattrcative.

The view from our balcony was fine, and the breakfast spread was delicious with fresh baguettes and croissants. My previous stays in paris were good, but this hotel really was great with its cozy vibe and excellent location near the gare de l'est.

Close to train stations
Above a sex shop/cinema. Noise of traffic, people & bars. No fan or airconditioning & couldnt open windows due to noise.

Room was reasonably priced and big size and clean.
Nice place with WELCOMING staff on customer service and professionalism. Magnificent location, a short way from everywhere. Walking distance to a bakery and a supermarket across the street.

Cozy Stay with Room for Improvement
During our 4-night stay, we loved the cleanliness and ambiance of our room, although the bathroom felt cramped. Pro tip, use the stairs if you're feeling adventurous!

Thank you for a really nice stay. It's fairly clean hotel with reasonably priced and newly remodelled rooms and pleasant staff. There is a good choice of great food for breakfast. The atmosphere of the property is quiet.

We had a suite with a bathroom.

We had to transport luggage one by one. Room fixtures felt cheap and disassembled, with rusty shower fittings and an overall uncomfortable vibe. Noise from the lively area outside, especially at night, compromised the peace we were looking for. Plus, no kettle or coffee machine in the room was a letdown.

Outrageous to be expected to carry a suitcase up seven flights of stairs..... The place has only one old spiral staircase and no lift. It is a firetrap and you should not advertise this hotel on your website. It is shocking that this place is allowed to operate.
